MILS Faculty Circle
The MILS Faculty Circle represents a growing network of qualified mindfulness instructors who teach and present on behalf of the Mindfulness in Law Society.
Each instructor brings both depth of practice, teaching experience, and an understanding of the challenges of legal life.
Organizations interested in bringing mindfulness to their legal communities are invited to request a MILS Faculty Circle speaker. Our instructors offer engaging presentations, workshops, and guided practices tailored to your audience’s needs.

Signature Programs
Foundations of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction
Modified MBSR program. A streamlined, accessible adaptation of MBSR grounded in the established curriculum and designed for busy professionals. Participants learn foundational mindfulness practices through experiential learning and reflective inquiry.

Navigating the Challenges of Practice & Life with More Ease

Mindfulness for Lawyers
From Reactivity to Resilience

Belonging and Balance: Mindfulness, Inclusion, and Resilience in the Law
The session integrates research on mindfulness, lawyer well-being, and inclusion with practical, accessible tools that support emotional regulation, ethical decision-making, and sustainable advocacy. Mindfulness is presented as a secular, evidence-based practice that strengthens attention, reduces reactivity, and enhances clarity in demanding professional environments. Particular emphasis is placed on the relationship between internal belonging (a sense of steadiness, self-trust, and presence) and external belonging (feeling seen, heard, and valued within professional systems).

The Ripple Effect: How Self-Care Transforms Teams, Leadership, and ROI
This presentation examines how individual wellbeing practices create measurable ripple effects across teams and organizations. Using neuroscience, organizational research, and legal-industry examples, the session connects preventative care, leadership behavior, psychological safety, and business outcomes such as retention, performance, and profitability.

Mindful Joy Management:
Finding Moments of Joy Between Coffee to Chaos

Law firms, government attorneys, bar associations, prosecutors, and legal departments exploring AI integration.

Artificial intelligence tools are rapidly entering legal practice, offering significant efficiency gains while also creating new ethical, competency, and reliability risks. This session explores how attorneys can thoughtfully integrate AI into their workflows while maintaining professional responsibility and sound judgment. The program emphasizes mindful discernment—helping attorneys critically evaluate the accuracy, reliability, and appropriate use of AI-generated information.
Real Confidence:
Essential Mindfulness Skills for Law Practice and Life
In this session, lawyers will explore what confidence really is and how it is cultivated in life and work. They will explore mindfulness and compassion strategies for building confidence even in the midst of difficult situations in law practice.

Rhythm & Routine Yoga Series
4-Week Course
4– 60-Minute Sessions
A four-part wellness series designed to help legal professionals improve focus, resilience, and performance through breathwork, meditation, and movement. Blending neuroscience, psychology, and yogic practices, each class offers practical tools to enhance clarity, adaptability, and overall well-being in law practice.
